Have you seen the recent Downy Unstoppables Commercial where the lady starts moving her shoulders after whiffing the ‘unstoppable scent’ (POISON)?  What is hilarious is that after using this product for several years, there is a very good probability that you will damage your endocrine system and nervous system so that you may have such a violent reaction after exposing your precious skin (not to mention circulatory system) to these chemicals over and over again.

I am super sensitive to scents and perfumes because of my exposure to pesticides as a child – my brother and I have always had very negative reactions to “fragrances” which also includes a  laundry list of chemicals to make those “fragrances” last. If I am around people who use any type of perfume, scented laundry detergent and fabric softener – I will almost instantaneously start to get a migraine and my hands will start to swell and get red.  

I am always amazed at how people think that this is a good idea to saturate your clothes – and then your body – with a list of chemicals that are KNOWN irritants, potential endocrine disruptors (that means your hormones), and undisclosed mysteries that equate to YOU being the experiment for these mega corporations.  When companies list “fragrances” or “colorants” – this is not an actual definition of what you are putting onto your skin.  This is just like when companies list “spices” as an ingredient in your food – that could mean onion powder or monosodium glutamate – and for anyone who is sensitive to those ingredients – full disclosure MATTERS.

Just THINK about this… if you are not willing to DRINK this, are you still willing to put this on your SKIN?  Because you are still ABSORBING it into your body?!?
