Research on CBD (Cannabidiol)

Research Article from the Journal of Neuro-Oncology (Cannabinoids for Tumors)

Research is showing that cannabinoids may have anti-tumor properties, leading to the treatment of cancer-related issues.

Here is a link to the journal article “Systematic review of the literature on clinical and experimental trials on the antitumor effects of cannabinoids in gliomas“.

From the Abstract:

“The various cannabinoids tested in multiple tumor models showed antitumoral effects both in vitro and in vivo. These findings indicate that cannabinoids are promising compounds for the treatment of gliomas.”

The Endocannabinoid System may be at the heart of many physiological functions, and could play a major part in how both our nervous system and immune system react.  A healthy immune system can protect one’s body from cancerous tumors.  Plant-based diets and medicines may prove to have natural and therapeutic effects without any of the dangerous side-effects from synthesized medicines.
